First Florida Credit Union Opens New Branch in Northwest St. Johns’ Durbin Creek Community

Location is the credit union’s 19th branch in the state and 10th in Northeast Florida

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – First Florida Credit Union officially opened its newest branch at 279 Harper Lane, east of Julington Creek Plantation in Northwest St. Johns County. The location is the credit union’s 19th statewide branch and 10th in Northeast Florida.

The new Durbin Creek Crossing Branch began serving the community Nov. 28, with a formal, three-day grand opening celebration planned for January.

Brent Lister, president and CEO of First Florida Credit Union, said the new location is an essential piece of the organization’s strategic plan to better serve its members by expanding across the region.

“First Florida Credit Union is thrilled to be part of this fast-growing community,” Lister said. “The Durbin Creek Crossing Branch offers St. Johns County residents more convenient access to the consistent, top-tier customer service that all of our members have come to expect.”

This First Florida Credit Union location features a free coin counter for members and drive-thru and drive-up ATM services.
