We’re glad to see you’ve been enjoying the benefits of the Extra Awards® program that comes with your First Florida Diamond Rewards Visa® Credit Card and/or your Rewards Checking Account.

Between March 18 – March 24, 2021, First Florida is bringing you an enhanced Extra Awards program with expanded benefits. The enhancements will deliver a better user experience, including an upgraded portal for easy navigation.

If you have enjoyed turning your points into powerful perks, you’ll love what we’ve added! 

  • Short on points for travel? No problem! You can now combine points and cash for travel redemption.
  • Enjoy trying new gadgets? You can now turn your points into merchandise.
  • Love getting cash back? You'll now receive cash awards quicker through ACH.
  • Want to earn rebates on purchases you already made? Perfect! Rebates work like cash back and are sent to you through ACH, so you receive rebates faster.
Plus, the upgraded portal comes with a fresh, sleek design that makes navigation easy and getting rewarded fun! Quickly locate your accrued points, explore the many ways to redeem your points, and seamlessly make your selection.

What's next?

Your points will automatically transfer to the new Extra Awards® platform during our system migration starting March 18, 2021, and ending March 24, 2021. 

You will not have access to view your points balance or to redeem rewards during this time while our team sets up your new experience. However, you will still earn and accrue points during the migration period.

When and how can I access my points?

Access to your Extra Awards points will be available beginning March 25, 2021. 

We’ve done the heavy lifting, and there is only one small thing for you to do. Your new Extra Awards® experience requires a new, secure registration. The process is simple and takes only a few moments to complete.

Starting March 25, 2021, you can find the link to the new Extra Awards portal on our website at FirstFlorida.org/extra-awards.

What are the registration steps?

When registering your account on the new platform, you may use your existing Extra Awards® username or create a new one. 

 

To complete your registration, here’s what you’ll need: 

Create a Password

Start by creating a new password. Remember to use a unique password or passphrase that others may not be able to guess easily.

Reference Your SSN & Visa Card

Have the last four digits of your Social Security Number and your First Florida 16-digit Visa® credit card or Visa® debit card number available. If you have a Diamond Rewards Visa® Credit Card and a Rewards Checking Account, you’ll need to register both cards.

Enter Your Email

Use your email on file with First Florida to complete a successful registration. If you have multiple emails on file, use the email indicated as the “Preferred” email on your account. Your preferred email is used to authenticate your account. Review your preferred email in Online Banking or the Mobile App.

One more thing. After the initial migration date of March 18, 2021, you will no longer have access to the old Extra Awards website. Be sure to bookmark the new website.

What if I can't remember the email I have on file?

That’s easy! Click to learn about several ways to verify your email address.

  1. You can quickly find your email address through Online Banking or the Mobile Banking App.

    Online Banking

    1. Using your computer, sign in to Online Banking
    2. Click on your name in the top-right corner, select Settings, and then Contact
    3. Click on Email and verify your Preferred email address

    Mobile Banking

    1. Using your mobile device, sign into the app
    2. Tap the More Menu, select Settings, and then Contact
    3. Tap Email and verify your Preferred email address
  2. Stop by your local branch with your government-issued ID for verification, and a branch employee will update your record on the spot.
  3. Make an appointment online through First Florida’s convenient Appointment Concierge feature to speak or meet with your local branch representative to update your account
  4. Contact the Member Support Center at (800) 766-4328, ext. 1, to assist you by phone. Please note, updating your email address by phone will require you to provide an electronic copy of your government-issued ID for security verification.

What if I don't use Online Banking?

No problem! Now is a great time to get started with Online Banking.

To establish your Online Banking account, visit my.firstflorida.org/Authentication and hit Register or download our Mobile Banking App and hit Sign Up Now.

  • Review the online banking agreement and disclosure
  • Confirm your identity with your First Florida account information
  • Create a username and request a temporary password. Once you receive that, use it to create your account password.
